Snow Day

We got the call from school last night about the best news ever: No School Tuesday! Our prayers really were answered. So today we're really living it up.

HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY HUDSON!

We celebrated Hudson's birthday last night. It's hard to express how much joy and action this guy brings to our life! (Jill is writing this one today. His sisters might add something about fighting and hitting, but this is his birthday post we have to edit that!)

Here is a quick look back of the last 7 years:

Hudson is here with his cousin, Rylan, who spent the last year in South Africa with Campus Crusade. Most nights this past year, Hudson has prayed for Rylan and really wanted Ry to be home for his birthday. As you can see Hudson got his wish and had a great birthday night.

Sorry this post is a day late, but that's what happens when Mom says she'll do it!

Thanksgiving

Sydney's 9th Birthday Party

Sydney's 9th Birthday Party! She went to get her hair and nails done with some of her friends. They all had a great time. My mom made a chocolate-chip and cookie dough cake for Sydney.

Sydney got rollerblades from Mom and Dad for her birthday! Sydney loves them and goes up and down the sidewalk again and again. She is still trying to get the hang of it, but she is doing a pretty good job! Just look at that smile.

Many times we got to watch this eagle soaring while we stayed in a cabin in northern Minnesota.

Camp and cousins

Timberlake Camp:

Sydney went to Timberlake last week for 2 days and Katie went this past week. Sydney went with her friend Keara, from church and school. Katie went with her cousin Jessica Reed who is 9 months older than her. Katie and Jessica were in the Ranch Camp and worked with horses all week. There are not any pictures of the campers together but plenty of others.
